If you want to look cute, you have to pay attention to your face, hair, and clothes, while also making an effort to look cute. Anyone can look cute as long as he or she looks natural, friendly, and comfortable. If you want to know how to look cute with just a few easy tips, you've come to the right place. Get started with Step 1 below or find more specified advice by checking out the sections listed above.
Part 1 of 3: Having a Cute Face and Cute Hair

1
Wear cute makeup
Your face will be the first thing people see, so it should be as cute as possible. Not only should you wash your face and have good hygiene, but you should also wear cute makeup to make yourself look adorable. To look cute, you don't need to go too heavy on the makeup, but the right makeup will go a long way in making you look really cute. Here's what you should wear:Wear just a tiny bit of blush. This will make you look even cuter if you blush for real, which you should try to do from time to time.

Wear light eyeshadow in pastel shades like light blue, purple, or even light pink.

Don't go too heavy on the makeup. Just a light layer of mascara and eyeliner will do.

Whatever you do, look natural. You can wear a bit of makeup, but you'll only be cute if you look like yourself.

Wear soft pink lipstick or lip gloss.

2. Have cute hair. You need to have cute hair to frame your cute face. Your hair should look soft and natural, and should be free of any heavy products. You should style and groom your hair in a way that makes you look even cuter. Here are some things to try:

  • Let your hair dry naturally and fall to your shoulders.
  • Wear your hair in two loose pigtails that fall in front of your shoulders.
  • Put your hair in a low messy bun, with a few strands hanging over your eyes.
  • Consider getting bangs if you don't have them. Bangs will be a good addition to almost any haircut below your ears and will be very cute.
  • Put colorful clips, baubles, or pastel-colored headbands in your hair.
  • Curl your hair in little ringlets.

    1
Wear cute clothes. Wearing cute clothes is the key to being cute. You don't have to change everything in your wardrobe to be cute -- instead, just work on acquiring a few cute items that tie all of your clothes together in a cute way. Here are some ways to wear cute clothes:
    • Wear skirts and dresses instead of pants or shorts when you can. The girlier you look, the cuter you'll be.
    • Avoid anything too provocative. Don't show too much leg or cleavage, because that will be sexy, not cute.
    • Don't wear anything that looks too tight or uncomfortable. Part of being cute is looking comfortable in your own skin.
    • Wear light and positive colors. Wear pastels like purple, pink, or a shade of blue. Anything soft and pretty will make you look cute.
    • Avoid dark colors like black, brown, or dark blue.
    • Cardigans, knit sweaters and vests, boot-cut jeans, and t-shirts with cute patterns like hearts or polka-dots, will be very cute.
    • Try wearing something with a floral pattern. That is very cute.
    • Wear brightly-colored or patterned socks.

      2
Wear cute shoes. Your cute shoes should compliment your cute clothes and should make you look even more cute from head to toe. You should wear shoes that make you look stylish and trendy, but not shoes that make you look provocative. Follow these shoe tips to make sure your feet look cute:
      • Wear clogs, mocassins, or close-toed shoes with a round toe.
      • Wear flat sandals and pair them with cute pastel-colored nail polish.
      • Wear furry boots.
      • Wear pastel or white-colored sneakers with pastel shoe-laces.
      • Wear a classy wedge heel.
      • Avoid very high heels, or you will look more provocative than cute. However, the right heels paired with a more conservative outfit will make you look very cute.

        3
Wear cute accessories. Cute accessories can help ties your cute outfit together. You don't have to be weighted down by accessories -- just pick a few accessories that really make your outfit stand out. Here are a few accessories that will make you look incredibly cute:
        • Wear a cute chunky pink ring.
        • Wear subtle gold or silver necklaces.
        • Wear silver dangly earrings.
        • Wear bangles.
        • Use a small purse that hangs over your shoulder or that has a floral pattern.

          1
Have cute body language. If you really want to look cute, then you need to have cute body language. Your body language will tie your whole look together, and someone will be able to tell that you're cute just from the way you smile or the way you're sitting. Here's how to have cute body language no matter what you're doing:
          • Play with a strand of your hair.
          • Fiddle with your bracelet or necklace.
          • If you're sitting, keep your feet together and your hands in your lap.
          • If you're standing up, shift your weight from foot to foot.
          • Break eye contact from time to time. Though you should keep eye contact to maintain a conversation and show you care, you should look at the floor or at your hands once in a while to show that you're a little bit shy.
          • Cover your mouth when you laugh. This is very cute.
          • Give the person you're talking to the occasional light touch on the shoulder or knees

            2
Speak in a cute way. If you want to look cute, you have to speak in a cute way. If you're not speaking in a cute way, then people may forget how cute you look. Here's how to speak to make yourself look even more cute:
            • Talk softly. This will make everything you say sound more important because people will have to lean in to hear you. If you yell or talk so loudly that everyone in the building can hear you, that won't be very cute.
            • Don't forget to laugh. Laughing and giggling while you talk will be very cute. Don't do it too often, but make sure to laugh and giggle from time to time.
            • Don't interrupt. Listen patiently and speak when it's your turn. Butting in the way is not cute

              3
Act demure. Being shy or demure is a major part of being cute. You can be shy while being sweet, friendly, and bubbly at the same time. You can still be fun and social while being demure, as long as you're not loud or overbearing. Here's how to act demure to be more cute:
              • When you engage in conversation, remember to act very innocent. Don't tell dirty jokes, engage in racy conversations, curse, or be vulgar. Cute people should be surprised by these actions instead of engaging in them.
              • Learn to blush from time to time. If you're genuinely embarrassed by a topic, it will be very cute if you blush.
              • Don't dominate. You can still be a part of a conversation without fighting to be the center of attention. Being pushy, rude, or bossy to be the star of every show is definitely not cute or demure.

                TIPS
                • Smile, laugh and enjoy yourself.
                • None of this should be forced. Again, let it come naturally, if you look happy and sincerely provide compliments to other people they will think of you as nice and may classify you as "cute".
                • Don't try too hard, just let it come naturally.
                • Don't go overboard with too many colors. Just pick 2-3 or maybe even 4. Mainly because you want the colors to compliment each other! Make sure that you don't have too many accessories too! Just enough to make the outfit look complete!
                • You're never too old to be cute.
                • Don't be fake; high squeaky voices might be cute on kids, but when you're 17 and attempting it, it's just annoying.
                • Don't be irritating, and remember that the most important thing is to stay true to yourself
                • Make sure whatever you wear doesn't expose too much of your chest.
                • If you wear earrings and you want your clothes to be the focus, wear some sort of earrings that don't stand out but match your outfit.
                • Avoid vulgar language.

1
Decide the size. To start, you'll want to decide just how big you want to stretch your earlobe piercings. Take a look at different sizes of jewelry posts at the mall or your local piercing parlor. Get an idea of what gauge (size) of jewelry you, ultimately, want to wear. Remember smaller gauges are bigger jewelry, so the larger hole you will be creating in your earlobe.
2
Pierce your lobes. If your earlobe isn't pierced, go to an established, reputable piercer. Discuss with the piercer, what gauge you want to stretch to and let him or her help you decide how large you want to pierce your earlobes. Make sure to record your earlobe piercing size so you can pick the proper gauge once you start stretching. Do not start stretching until the piercing has healed completely. Remember: Fresh piercings should always be allowed to heal with sterilized stainless steel in place and will take at least one month to heal

3
Pierced lobes. If you already have pierced ears, you should figure out what gauge your piercings are. If you were pierced with a gun, they are eighteen gauge. If you were pierced by a piercer, you can go to any piercing shop and ask for help determining what gauge your earlobes are before you stretch them.

4
Acquire tapers. Once you know what size you're stretching from and to, you'll need "tapers" for your earlobes. You can buy these online or at many piercing parlors. These are what actually stretch your earlobes. You can buy long, straight tapers that use a rubber "O" ring to hold them in place, or spiral jewelry tapers; both start small and get bigger, thus the name. Either type will do, both will look funny sticking partway through your ear. Get over it or risk ripping your earlobes instead of stretching them.

5
Don't stretch too fast. A very common mistake is trying to stretch too fast. When you're working your way to a smaller gauge (bigger jewelry), it's better to not skip any gauges once you get into the single digits. In the double digits, skipping a gauge can be easy and relatively painless. To get to the gauge you want, you may need to buy several different sized tapers and wait many months to get to your goal. Stretching too fast, or ripping your earlobes as you stretch them, can result in having "cat butt" lobes. Yes, your earlobes will look like little cat butts. Not attractive. If you do tear your earlobe while stretching thoroughly clean and put your previous size jewelry back in and allow your stretched earlobe to heal completely before stretching again.

6
Finally, how do you actually do the stretching? First, make sure your hands, earlobes, and your taper are clean. You may want to use some lubricant on the thinner end of your taper. Use one hand to firmly grip your taper and your other hand to support your earlobe as you stretch. Slowly, but firmly push it through your earlobe piercing. Some mildly painful pressure is normal. If you feel like your earlobe is actually tearing or if you notice blood, stop. If you can't get the taper all the way to it's widest point, don't worry. Leave it in place until your earlobe is no longer sore and try again until you get there. Once you do, keep the jewelry in your ear until all swelling and discomfort is gone. Don't rush!

TIPS

  • Insert the tapers after you have taken a shower. Use some sort or oil (like those listed below) as lubrication.
  • Jojoba oil or vitamin E oil are great to use to stretch and take care of a newly stretched ear.
  • Regular sea-salt soaks are beneficial in aiding with healing a freshly stretched ear and helping remove bacteria from the skin.
  • Never use weights to stretch. Weight stretching causes added pressure to the ear lobe that can cause complications, such as tears, later on.
  • You should stick to steel tapers, as they can be sterilized and they are less likely to get a build-up of germs, like acrylic tapers do. Acrylic tapers are cheaper than steel tapers, but if you buy steel tapers in a set, they can be very cheap
  • People say you should wait at least a month before putting in the next size taper, but this may not always be true. You should put the next one in when you feel comfortable, when you can push it in and out pain free, that's when it's ready. So don't go to the next size too fast, your ears may need more time than a month.
  • You should never wear tapers as jewelry. They are intended to stretch you piercing so you can wear the appropriate gauge jewelry. Read the info at the Association of Piercing Professionals' [Safe Piercing http://www.safepiercing.org] site for the most reliable piercing information.
  • Do NOT size up without waiting a month. Regardless of how healed your lobe may feel after only a couple weeks, sizing up too fast will hurt you in the long run, making blow outs more likely and making stretching more difficult.
  • Rubbing alcohol helps for keeping everything clean. Put lotion on your ears to give them a little moisture and it will feel better.
  • Rubbing alcohol keeps infections away. Lotion helps with the stretching of ears.

Whether you want to impress someone, stand out in to master the understated look of the old-money crowd

1
Dress in a classic manner. Private school uniforms are perfect examples of this look. Use them as inspiration for your daily wear. Cardigans, plaid, polo shirts, jumpers, skirts, slacks, knee-high socks, and shorts. Also, for the "old money" look, more vintage style classics will work, like a British style 3-button suit, anything "tweed", etc. Fabrics should be all natural, such as cotton, cashmere, silk, linen, wool and blends of these natural fibers. Don't overdo it; try to go for a relaxed look, like you just got back from a week at the family home in Kennebunkport. Well fitting clothing in relaxed muted colors and maybe a touch of pastel is very old money. Pay attention to the fit and fabric when you are shopping. Buy fewer quality pieces rather than a bunch of discount items.
  1. 2
Have good hygiene. Make sure you always brush your teeth and take a shower. Wash your hair and keep it tidy but understated. Clean your nails and get manicures at inexpensive nail salons. Short Tips are really pretty but avoid long nails with bright colors.
  2. 3
Keep your face neat and your body well groomed. Men should have precise haircuts, and well shaven facial hair. Women should have a "tasteful" cut, color and shine in their hair. Clear skin, free of acne and well moisturized especially in women of a certain age. Hair color should look natural and highlights and lowlights must be natural as if obtained on a visit to the beach house.
  3. 4
Act in a more patrician manner. Drive more slowly. Your car should be a basic model. That means no bumper stickers, no loud stereo and no 26" rims. Your car should look as though it is freshly detailed inside and out: cleaned and waxed, with shiny tires. Slow down your speech, and lower your voice volume. Try talking about important matters happening today. Don't be loud or draw attention to yourself. Learn to play golf, tennis and sail, or to ride (horses), even to play polo (if you have the stomach for it). Get familiar with English history. Groom regularly, nails, body, face and hair. Keep clothing neat in appearance (tuck in shirts, wear comfortable fitting not very loose clothing). You must think before you talk, because, as small as this may seem, some people blurt out things that make them seem as if they didn't, and it can hurt you and others.
  4. 5
Change the forecast. For women, strapped sandals in winter are alright. For men, sweaters and khaki shorts with casual loafers are okay as long as it's not snowing. The old money crowd does love to layer, so sweaters, overcoats, and similar garb is handy for cooler conditions.
  5. 6
Put on your best face. A wealthy woman's makeup is natural with neutral colors, except for red lipstick, the only color in her makeup. Her nail polish is a pale white, pink or beige. Perfect skin is a rich woman must. Natural skin color looks much better. No sunspots, so keep on sporting sunscreen, though everyone looks better with a healthy glow.
  6. 7
Smell like money. Men and women should wear a small amount of an expensive scent. (Men- on inner wrist and underneath the jaw line, Women- on inner wrist inner elbows and underneath jaw line or behind ears). Do not put too much on!
  7. 8
Remember, diamonds are forever, but be discreet about it. Jewelry should be minimalistic, classic and inoffensive. If you can't afford the real thing, keep it classic. In lieu of a genuine Cartier "tank" watch, do what lots of the wealthy do and get the cheapest, simplest Timex with a basic black leather band, small and discreet. Pearls if they are real also work. Nothing flashy or too big.
  8. 9
An authentic designer bag or wallet is nice, but go for something a bit bland or obsolete. Something that is the "latest fashion" is by definition a trend, which is anathema to the old money crowd. It must be well made and leather even if not designer, go for simple designs, such as the LL Bean Boat & Tote or a classic black quilted Chanel. Nothing avante garde, and nothing that looks like the Balenciaga Lariat, or the Chloe Paddington. However, if you're impressing the nouveau riche, "trendy" is pretty much mandatory.
  9. 10
Walk in a wealthy person's shoes. Acquire at least one pair of really decent well made shoes. For men, some very conservative and understated oxfords or loafers. For women, a conservative pump, like the classic Chanel pump would be a good choice.
  10. 11
One of the most important things is to try and act normal. People who are not rich, wish they were. People who are rich don't want anyone to know. Be relaxed and light-hearted. Wear things that are good quality, but do not advertise. Do not wear clothing with advertisements or brand names on them. If someone is truly wealthy, they will be able to tell. Do not act as though you are above normal activities. Act rich, walk and speak properly, but when you talk about the subject of yourself or your life, speak about yourself as though you are a normal person. Never accept that you are rich. If cornered try "My parents are somewhat well off." Never openly discuss financial matters.
  11. 12
Be careful who you talk to, what you do, and where you are all time. Be aware of your surroundings. One wrong move you make could change a person's mind negatively. Love yourself, no matter what.
  12. 13
Act like a learned person. Wealthy people frequently receive private schooling and so education is important. Brush up on general knowledge, but don't flaunt your education or claim to be an expert. Read books and have perfect grammar as well as a good vocabulary, but do not throw long words around to sound impressive.
  13. 14
    Finished.
  14. Tips

    • Speak properly; always mind your grammar.
    • Treat valets, butlers, waiters, and other servants nicely, but not in an overly-friendly way. Just be polite to them, treat them as if they were the same as the help back home.
    • Flashy does not mean wealth, only poor taste.
    • Know your etiquette. Read books on the proper use.
    • Having a lot of money or "pretending" to won't make people like you more.
    • Go on line, look through TJ Maxx, shop at outlet stores. Use coupons Lord and Taylor and Macys gives away coupons on their website.
    • Learn how to dine properly and such things as the difference between creme brulee and flan.
    • Use excellent posture, whether you are sitting or standing.
    • Don't try too hard; subtlety is key. Looking like a newly rich person is never a good thing to those who have always had money.
    • Never look at the tag while "shopping" (literally just browsing and trying on clothes) in expensive stores. Train yourself not to react to extremely high prices by educating yourself on the ridiculous pricing for designer goods. If you look at a price rich people do not say the full number. For example a Shirt is 1,040 a rich person would say it is 10 40 not One thousand and forty dollars. If you react and make a scene, the other shoppers in the store will think that they are better than/ above you.

Want your makeup to be like Ariana Grande's? Nobody can blame you! Her makeup is always looking natural, fresh, and professional. Here are the key strategies to getting your makeup just like hers.

1.

Apply a light concealer that matches your skin color and evens out your skin tone. Apply all over your face with a clean makeup brush or your fingertips, especially over blemishes.
                                  2.
Be sure to apply some white liquid or powder eyelid primer onto your eyelids. This will hold together and brighten up your eye makeup/eyeshadow!

                                   3.
Do eyeshadow like gray, orange and black. Be sure to make it smoky, and feel free to go up to the browbone!

4.
Apply black eyeliner. Liquid is suggested, and be sure to apply on both top and bottom lids. Don't wing it out, and make it simple and fun!

                                     5.
Be sure to apply five coats of black mascara that thickens and adds length and volume. Yes, this is very dramatic, but lashes are crucial when it comes to Ari's makeup look. Feel free to apply false lashes as well.

                                                                                6.
Apply light orange and/or pink blushes! Be sure to smile for a more defined idea of the apples of your cheeks and slowly swirl and dab the blush right on your beautiful face!

                                     7.
Wear lip gloss for this look, and be sure to make it simple, clear, pink, and fun!Don't wear too shimmery or glittery glosses!

                                     8.
Wear dark, red, pink, and mild colors for lipsticks. Almost anything you like! Keep in mind that few people can rock the red lipstick look, including Ariana

                                     9.
Add some lip liner. You can apply this to the outer parts of your lips and/or all of your lips. You can do any of these, and apply lipstick and/or lipgloss over it. Your varieties are limitless!

TIPS
  • Ariana always has light colored and slightly arched eyebrows. Fill in with a light brown powder.
  • Wear a nude color on your lid.
Dark brown in the crease. Look up Ariana Grande makeup on Youtube or go to ArianaG Style, ArianaGrandeStyle or Grande Style Source.
  • Use pink and/or orange blush.
  • Apply concealer over blemishes.
  • Wear brown eyeliner on the bottom (Ariana does that).
  • Apply black eyeliner and mascara.
  • Stick to smoky eyeshadow colors.
  • Feel free to apply false lashes as well.
  • Be sure your eyeliner is liquid and on both lids.
  • Lips... you can do almost anything with them!
  • Tight line your lower waterline like she does with dark brown, if you have small eyes I wouldn't recommend doing this because it can make your eyes look smaller.
  • Use a clean makeup brush.
  • Put lip liner all over you lips. That's what she said in her video.
  • Put individual lashes.
  • Use orange, black, and gray eyeshadows.

      WARNING
    • Do not get makeup in your eye!
    • Few people, including Ariana, can rock the red lipstick look
    •     ~~GOOD LUCK~~
